This history class is designed for 8th graders.  We will begin with a look at our earliest Native Americans.  We will study early exploration, settlement and immigration, and how we created our own identity.  The causes of our separation from Britain, the Revolution, and the creation of our Constitution will follow.  We will finish with the pains of early growth, manifest destiny, and the war between the states.  We will study terminology, maps, and other resources as we progress through this course.
